Day Thirteen - Cycle Two (Day 30)

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES!  COME ON!

WHOOO HOOO!  I MADE IT THROUGH THIRTY (30) WHOLE DAYS OF HEALTHY EATING!  I AM SUPPER JAZZED TODAY.  FEELING THE BEST I HAVE IN SUCH A LONG TIME.  I HAVE HAD A FEW DISAPPOINTING THINGS HAPPEN TO ME TODAY, THAT I REFUSE TO LET TAKE ME DOWN OR OFF MY COURSE.  I REMAIN STEADFAST AND WILL SUCCEED AT THIS LIFESTYLE CHANGE.  I am doing this for me and not for anyone else.  Although, doing this for me, will have the added benefit of making the people who love me not have to worry about me so much.

I feel so awesome about my choices and decisions.  This lifestyle change is just that for me, it's no longer a diet.  I am in the zone.  It is second nature now at this point because my mind goes into automatic mode when I know I have to go somewhere.  I always take my food, or make sure I have money to be able to pick something allowable up (which usually includes pre-selecting restaurants prior to leaving.  No more eating on the fly.  Everything is planned out for the day.  I even carry my own food, tea and lemons with me when I stay overnight somewhere, because I can't count on others having what I need, and I am ever diligent that I am taking care of those details, so I leave myself NO EXCUSES to deviate from this plan.  I really like how easy it is all becoming for me.  I can cook a really nice hot lunch for myself in about 7 minutes.  A whole chicken breast -grilled, onions and mushrooms grilled and vegetables steamed!  I use a rice cooker/steamer and my George Foreman Grill! or a nice salad is also very quick to prep and start eating at a moments notice.  I always have my fruit and yogurts on hand, as well as my lemons and tea.  Water is everywhere, and I drink it while I'm out.

Whoo Hooo 30 days!  confetti, party, dance music, cue the lights, get the fireworks going!

TODAY'S STATS

Green Tea = 3; Water = 7; Fruit = 2 - grapefruit, apple; Probiotics = 2 yogurts; Proteins = Chicken breast, hamburger; Veggies = mushrooms, onions, cauliflower, cabbage; Friendly Fats = 2 Tbs Olive Oil;  Legumes = Basmati Rice: Friendly Starches = 0; Outlook = Positive - I am moving forward. 

I feel great.  I am looking good - still have lots to go, but happy with what is gone!
Got to see my nieces (Automn and Kiaya) and great-nephews (Zack -age 5, Tyler- age 3, and Logan - age 2) together with big sis and bro-bee and their kids (Tyler- age 8) and Tiffany - Age 10).  It was a real mini family reunion, and so nice. VERY Special Day!   I sure wish it could happen more often!  this is the first time I have met the great-nephews and they are soo adorable!  What a great looking family we have!  What dolls.  Thanks Automn and Kiaya for coming over!   

Looking forward to more success in my lifestyle change.  Looking forward to a brighter future.  I feel change in the air.....
