ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

     I want to send some acknowledgments out to a few people because I would no be doing this without them.  First, I want to thank Diana for never missing Dr. Phil, thereby seeing this episode and sharing it with me.  Plus, she has been super supportive, and she will be joining me in this endeavor as soon as she returns from vacation.  She will begin cycle one as I change to cycle two.  I will know hat my 17 success number will be by then and I hope that inspires her to stick with it.  She doesn't like as many vegetables as I do, but she likes enough to get her through.  Thanks Di.
     Next I would like to thank Dr. Mike Moreno for writing The 17 Day Diet and supporting all of his patients in the way he does.  He said in his book one of his patients told him they couldn't walk to exercise because she couldn't find anyone to walk with her, so he said he would, and he does still, two or three times a week!  Is that a great doctor or what?  Someone who invests himself in the well being of his patients.  We need more like him.  Also, he has made this diet very easy to do and follow.  He understands the first essential barricade to someone losing weight, if they feel hungry all the time, they won't stick with it.  All of those other diets always preach portion control, so that you are hardly eating anything and you feel hungry and deprived.  That leaves you wanting more of something, anything, and it's usually the bad stuff.  With this program you can literally eat a mountain of food in a sitting until you are full, as long as it's the sanctioned vegetables, and liberal amounts of proteins.    I am so appreciative of this book and diet that seems to be working miracles, like no other program has before for me.  I am looking forward to being one Dr. Mike's biggest success stories.  Thank you Dr. Mike.
     Next, I would like to acknowledge Dr. Phil for also being the kind of doctor who truly cares about his patients and people in general.  He truly does like to help and see people succeed in whatever their struggles are.  He proves that time and time again.  I think he shows what a great humanitarian he is by showcasing Dr. Mike's The 17 Day Diet, even though he has a personal interest invested in his own diet books and programs.  I am so thankful that there are human beings like Dr. Phil in the public eye, who are willing to bring us the people and information we would not readily be able to get our hands on without the use of television media supporting it.  Thank you Dr. Phil.
     Finally, I want to thank everyone who is already reading my blog and following my triumphs and tribulations during this process.  I truly appreciate you.  I am dedicated to doing this, even on those bad days, and it helps to hear you tell me not to give up or give in.  I can feel the love pouring in from all over America and Canada, it's pretty fantastic.  I love hearing that I am making you proud, but I am doing this to make myself proud.  Also, I love that I have been an inspiration to a few of you who told me you are going to buy the book and get started yourselves.  I am here for you too.  Let's share good times, bad times, and recipes.  Thank you for inspiring me to continue because I have inspired you.  I appreciate all of you so much.  I think we are all going to be surprised at my numbers on March 1 because I can see and feel a big difference.
