Weird Day
I am sick again, so I made plans for someone to pick up the little bit after a minimum day of school. However, she hurt herself at the playground and I got a call telling me to get up there immediately that she was saying she couldn't move and they were getting the wheelchair.
I had to call for and wait for a ride to get there and I cried while I hurriedly dressed myself. Praying the entire time! God, Please let her be alright. At that point, I thought she might be paralyzed or something. I didn't know what happened or why she couldn't move.
I couldn't stand the torture, so I called once I was ready to check on her and they eased my mind by letting me know that she was moving on her own, but had injured her lower back.
More prayers of thanks!!! Then Di and Yvette to the rescue (as they have been so many other times), and we were off. I updated them on the way. She was getting up and walking to the bathroom when I walked into the nurses office. They wheeled her out to the car, and recommended I watch her for a few hours to see if she would be needing urgent care. She moved pretty good on her own, and only seemed to complain when she was asked to pick up the messes she was making. She does have a bruise and a scratch, but she is doing well.
I hate those kinds o phone calls and the way they make me feel. It's very scary not knowing what happened and the extent of the injuries. The mind plays terrible games with you imagining the worst always. God is Great! Thank you God!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your concern. She is doing fine. Today, it's like she never got hurt (Saturday). She hasn't learned a lesson from it either - still climbing and monkeying around with all her friends. She is a little tomboy.
How are you doing? My computer is always giving me trouble. Last week I had no internet at all and couldn't post - and I think when I get away from posting and being accountable for that day, it gets easier to be bad for me. I hope I can continue to post every day to every other for my sake. It also prevents me from being able to check the message boards on the Dr.'s. I haven't gotten to read how you and the others are doing, but I hope everyone is doing better than me.! Take care and press on!
